Tinjauan Teologis terhadap Spiritualitas dan Kreativitas Seniman Kristen dalam Menghasilkan Karya Seni
Abstract
Dalam penggunaan karya seni sebagai ekspresi spiritualitas gereja, keberadaan para seniman Kristen menjadi fakta yang tidak dapat terelakkan. Namun, dalam praktiknya, tidak jarang para seniman di dalam gereja jauh lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk mempersiapkan peralatan dan sebaliknya kehilangan banyak waktu untuk melakukan persiapan rohani. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena adanya polarisasi di mana seorang seniman Kristen memahami bahwa kretivitas mereka tidak berkaitan dengan kehidupan spiritual. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan atau hubungan erat antara spiritualitas dan seni. Berdasarkan penelusuran teologis tentang spiritualitas dan seni, tiga signifikansi spiritualitas bagi seniman Kristen adalah seorang seniman Kristen harus memahami dirinya adalah gambar Allah, memahami kondisi komunitasnya, dan mampu menghasilkan karya seni yang membawa ke-suka-an.
