Pembelajaran yang Transformatif dalam Pelayanan Kaum Muda

Abstract

Youth is a time when individuals explore the possibilities within themselves, including their abilities, limitations, beliefs, and social values. In this process, transformative learning can become one of the vital learning processes for young people as it prioritizes experiential and self- reflective learning rather than mere knowledge transfer. Through a literature review, this paper aims to explain how transformative learning can be implemented in the context of youth services to help young individuals fulfill their life's purpose according to the will of God. Research results show that transformative learning can have a positive impact on the lives of young people in several ways: (1) it assists young individuals in reexamining all aspects of their lives; (2) it fosters high levels of creativity among them; and (3) when combined with spiritual development, transformative learning opens opportunities for active engagement in various forms of service.
