Pendekatan Pemuridan Brian Cosby sebagai Jawaban atas Permasalahan Kepergian Generasi Muda dari Gereja
Abstrak
Perubahan budaya, ilmu pengetahuan, dan teknologi yang cepat memengaruhi dinamika kehidupan masyarakat di seluruh pelosok dunia, termasuk komunitas gereja. Perubahan ini mengakibatkan kepergian kaum muda dari gereja. Gereja telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk menjawab permasalahan ini, tetapi usaha tersebut belum berhasil membendung kepergian mereka. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji akar permasalahan yang memicu kepergian kaum muda serta menganalisis bagaimana pendekatan pemuridan "Means of Grace" yang digagas Brian Cosby dapat menjadi solusi. Menggunakan metode studi literatur, analisis ini menyoroti bagaimana masalah akses, alienasi, dan otoritas—yang menyebabkan kaum muda meninggalkan gereja—dapat diatasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemuridan yang memadai melalui komunitas dan pelayanan Firman, sebagai "Means of Grace", dapat membentuk iman kaum muda.
